we have 3 adorable foster kittens, who arrived Wednesday evening

All 3 of them are jet black, one has a little white diamond at the base of her throat. Four weeks old.

At the moment, Snowflake (the one with the white flash) is perched on my shoulder, looking rather like a corsage. She is learning to purr and every so often she rumbles a little bit. She and her sister play together nicely. Then there is the brother. He is very hissy! When you pick him up he will growl and make all sorts of very irate noises, but when you settle him down, he sort of plasters himself to you. He arrived with a belled collar, which is good since he has found about a dozen hidey holes in our den.

I am enjoying having kittens in the house. Not so sure about our adult cats, but they are behaving. We have 2 brothers which are 17, a 5 year old male and a 4 year old female. We keep them until they are heavy enough for neutering. We are very adept at socializing cats and promised to return them to adoption as rotten spoiled 'people cats'

We have talked about doing this for a couple of years (since our youngest cat grew out of kittenhood and teenage cat stages)

This is our first real opportunity.

The lady who brought them over helped us with TNR on the feral mom we had been feeding when her second litter came along. All the cats went to TCAP for free neutering, and the kittens came to us in 'kitty condos'. Three were adopted out, and we ended up with the two who were the least tamed. Eventually they came around and moved from the screened patio to the house (on their own terms) Sadly one of them got spooked by the garage door opening (he was hiding out there unknown to us) and tore out of the garage. We looked for that cat for weeks. We still have his sister, and she enjoys being in the house with us.

Anyway we are having loads of fun. We can see they are a bit heavier and stronger already
