Jeez, I believe this is a scam to net our town more money.

It's bad enough that we have alternative side of the street parking. The street cleaner/sweeper is there and gone in 3 minutes while you can't park for another 3 hours and 55 minutes.

Now the town's had parking spaces painted on the road and will fine you if you don't park exactly in the middle of the lines. All done in the name of freeing up more parking on the street. They've likely and inadvertently removed at least 1 to 2 parking spaces per side of the street by this great new idea.

1. Makes me grateful I get to live in a small home

with its own garage. Although I am literally the only person in my little neighborhood of about 30 or 35 townhouses that actually uses the garage to park my car. Everyone else parks on the street because their garages are filled with excess crap.
