The state of AZ has a specific statute allowing an owner to provide for their animals in a trust, in2herbs Jun 2019 #6
That makes sense. Should be the same in every state. BigmanPigman Jun 2019 #7

She spent the last couple of her years in a 'wheelchair" like this. It allowed her those years with pretty good quality of life.

Happy dog gets a new set of wheels...too cool! I did water therapy in my filled bathtub for 30 min. a night for a month with my Chihuahua. Since she is so small she had to swim or drown so she would doggy paddle while I held her in place. She loves going into the shower ever since and she runs up and down hills like her leg was never cut off and reattached when she was 6 months old. You would never be able to tell she wasn't a regular 4 legged dog unless I told you and even then you wouldn't believe me, no one ever does.

*Don't forget to remember the homeless furbabies at the shelters when you write your wills/trusts. They need us!
