The DU Lounge
Related: Culture Forums, Support ForumsI've got Weird Al tix 10th row Sunday night and I'm having a hard time staying calm
I've been a fan since '89 and it will be my first show. I've got my Viking helmet ready for Weasel Stomping Day too.
I'm afraid I may embarrass my wife and 8 y/o daughter.

(34,111 posts)His concerts are incredible and so much fun. I do not know how long he can keep this up. Saw him maybe 6 years ago. We have tickets at an outdoor venue we really love, good seats too in August. Gonna be hot but who cares, he is just that much fun and that good.
Report back! Is this the concert where he is backed up by an orchestra?

After seeing him live, I had a new appreciation for just how ridiculously talented he and his bandmates are.

(39,343 posts)He did his costume changes during quick videos or once during a 5 second drum solo. He's a hard worker and it was a blast. My 8year olds first concert too (that's not even a sentence but I'm too tired to fix it. I know it's not a complete thought, but you get it?)

Oh, and on edit, have you seen him in the George Harrison tribute? He was really good playing it straight!
