Burger King and Wendy's roast Jack in the Box after Kim Kardashian calls the restaurant out on Twitt

Burger King and Wendy’s roast Jack in the Box after Kim Kardashian calls the restaurant out on Twitter

https://www.deseretnews.com/article/900071631/kim-kardashian-jack-in-the-box-twitter-burger-king-wendys.html

<snip>

Kardashian called out the fast food chain in front of her 60 million Twitter followers Monday, claiming to have a “serious complaint” about its services.

“Hey, Jack In The Box,” Kardashian tweeted. “I have a serious complaint but I won’t fully put you on blast, check your corporate email inbox or send me a DM with direct person for my team to contact. Pronto!”

<snip>

Kardashian responded to her initial tweet with a follow-up.

“I would like to add that this is not about me or a wrong order. Nobody recognized me and it’s something that I observed that affected other customers at this particular location that was concerning,” she wrote.

I could not agree more. She's more like Trump every day--even without idiot Kanye's influence. hlthe2b May 2019 #4

With 60 million followers, bad-mouthing a company amounts to a criminal act. All she had to do was use her star power and call the jack in the box ceo. She would have solved the problem and jack in the box could have thanked her publicly in some way where it was a win win for everyone.

This is nothing less than cyber bullying on a grand scale.

the sometimes fine line between "negotiation" and "extortion".

it sounds like she was saying she observed something happening to someone else, and she was just a fly on the wall, able to be an objective observer *because* no one behaved any differently around her because no one recognized her.

it doesn't sound like she was complaining *about* no one recognizing her.

having said that, the tweet to 60 million followers put a swift end to her 15 minutes of anonymity....

Ever heard of using your celebrity carefully, effectively, and with humility? Obviously not.

"Nobody recognized me".

She should've had "her people" effing Google Jack in the Box's corporate number and talked to an exec directly. Demanding someone call her via Twitter is ridiculous.

if so, the corporate headquarters might handle really bad situation, but in most cases, the store manager or franchise owner would be the better person to contact.

she's not telling us the nature of the problem, but my guess is it's more of a problem with the individual franchise or even just an individual employee than with the entire chain....
