Game of Thrones for and by newbies.

I don't follow GOT but tonight I sat through the last 6 hours of the battle scene to keep my wife company. My takeaways: 1) in the real world, dragons would have to go back to their base to get more butane, and 2) the first three times you get run through with a sword don't count.

Don't watch GoT. No HBO. WHAT, a 6 hour battle scene? When is it too much? Fla Dem May 2019 #5

they can just stop briefly and eat some more small children.

the first three times you get run through with a sword don't count.

If someone has already been dead, it's much harder to kill them again, apparently.

Besides, I can take a 3-4 hour movie, because I like a beginning, a middle and the end, but I don’t stick around for unending series.

I guess that’s just me. I’m more a movie guy.

I can't imagine watching a battle scene for 6 hours? After the 1st hour, what more is there to watch? Dragons flying, breathing fire, people getting skewered or their heads lopped off. Seems like 6 hours would just be wash, rinse, repeat.
