Oh yeah!
My little cat Raven.
This video was made a few years ago, but Raven still loves to play fetch.
She'll go grab the toy, and bring it back to me.
Anyone else have a cat that likes to play fetch?

(1,896 posts)One Siamese was downright obsessed with it. The other Siamese would return it to my lap, then my feet, then a couple of feet in front of me... I'm fairly sure he was trying to train me to fetch it myself.

(23,239 posts)She would bat it down the stairs with her paw, then go down and get it, lather rinse, repeat! If I rolled it across the floor, she would fetch and bring it back to me for more! She was hilarious to watch! The hazel nut was her favorite toy! ---

(8,000 posts)We had a very long hallway and I'd throw the ball down and she'd chase it and bring it back to me. If she was in the mood to play and I wasn't doing anything, she'd get the ball out of the toy basket and would pat me with her paw to get my attention.
She's been gone a long time, but she lived to be 21.

(4,608 posts)but only with foil balls. I'd make them a little smaller than a golf ball.
I come from a long line of dog people (on both sides of the family) and was the first to get a cat. I got Frannie when I was in college to keep my Lab company while I was in class. Having no clue about cats, I treated Frannie like a little dog. She would sit on command (for treats) and come when called. She didn't figure out how to cat until I got a kitten a few years later, lol! Frannie ruled the house with an iron paw until she passed away at age 17.

Wadded tin foil balls or even mini super balls have been faves...

(6,556 posts)Jake would "play fetch" with his favorite ball. He would play as long as someone would throw the ball for him. He would bring the ball and drop it at your feet. When you stopped responding to that, he would jump into your lap and try to give you the ball to keep you playing. He was found as a small kitten almost frozen to death. I work on warming him and then for several days after that feeding him, first with warm tea with corn syrup and then with weak kitten formula, increasing the milk content each day. Loved that cat!

(4,544 posts)She especially loves to fetch those toys made of krinkly cellophane. Her name is Olive.
He is 17 YO this month an LOVES to play fetch with paper wads.
He even gets into the printer and pulls out sheets of paper for me tear up.
He got into my wallet once, when he was a kitten, and brought me a $20 bill to throw.
(It was 4:30 AM and I did it - never saw it again!)

(5,591 posts)And play fetch like a puppy. Only one of my lifetime of adored felines who does it.
She comes when she is called and is affectionate with every single human she comes in contact with on any day.
Best puppy-cat ever!
