To be effective could/should be made to be used in every nation, and it obviously can be used for other packaging products polluting our oceans.

I can't tell if the blue box is a gumball vending machine, an R2D2 without wheels, or a phone booth for Klingon children.

introduce legislation to either make this mandatory for beverage companies, or offer tax incentives for them to comply.

7. I personally think there should be a law that all containers should be recyclable or biodegradable.

There is so much stuff I throw out in the course of a year that just isn't recyclable or biodegradable it makes me sick (metaphorically, not actually). Even recyclables are becoming a problem because the country (China) we sent most of our recyclables to, won't take them anymore. I fear for the health of the planet for this and many other reasons.

Hey, if I'm lucky, I'll be around for another 20-30 years, its the Millennials,Gen Z'ers and those coming after them who will suffer the consequences as well as the wild life and sea life. But maybe they'll be smarter than all of us that went before them and will solve the trash problem.

They should make them for bottles too.

Our local zoo stopped carrying plastic straws, the only straws they carry now are the pasta straws...biodegradable, they hold up great in your drink, and you can even snack on them!

15. Your proposal as an "environmentally friendly" 6 pack holder is an old vending machine?

The kind that's charged with CFC refrigerant, uses yooge amounts of electricity, and weighs a ton? No. Just no.

When I clicked on this thread I thought you were going to show us this:

It is wildlife-friendly because a bird or a small animal can't get its neck stuck in the rings. It enables the beer manufacturer to build pallets without using cardboard boxes, because the bottoms of cans drop into the tops of the PakTech holders. And it's too big to accidentally eat. All in all, a good environmentally sound solution.
