Johnny Appleseed trivia

You know how in the Disney movie Johnny Appleseed Johnny wore a cooking pot on his head? Apparently John Chapman, the real Johnny Appleseed, did too!

I think Dennis Day was wonderful as the narrator in the movie and as the voices of Johnny Appleseed + The Old Settler + Johnny's Angel. It makes me happy that Johnny in the movie was drawn to resemble Dennis Day, who I remember from the Jack Benny TV show and always liked.
