I heard when I began listening to classical musical a long, long time ago. I also remember listening to a recording of the Emperor Concerto my dad brought to my grandmothers house when I was about 12 or so played on a big old Magnavox "Hi-Fi". After my teen years had passed the "Emperor" was the very first classical recording I purchased. Funny how that stayed in my mind somehow. I still have the recording.
