He has a very special smile ❤️🐕BY KRISTEN WARFIELD
Mosley looks a little different but his rescuers think that makes him look even more lovable.
When the young dog first showed up at a rural Georgia shelter last month, he was overlooked for several months because there were just so many other dogs available there. The shelter was crowded and busy, and no one really paid attention to him.
That was until Amanda Harris, marketing programs manager for Atlanta Humane Society, saw his photo online and knew instantly that the dog was special. She left soon after to go pick him up from the rural shelter.
His crooked grin captured our hearts, and we knew it would help him quickly capture the perfect forever home, Harris told The Dodo about Mosley.
He was undeniably cute and people on social media thought so, too. While no one knows for sure just how Mosleys smile became crooked, Harris said its likely that he was just born that way.
We took some photos and video of him, and he quickly became very popular on social media, where dozens of families inquired about adopting him, Harris said.
Lindsey Ramsey and her family were among the interested adopters and luckily, the shelter thought they would be the perfect match for Mosley.
The Ramseys adopted Mosley last Friday, and hes been so excited ever since.
He just wants to be rubbed on and snuggled and he follows us around wherever we go in the house, Ramsey told The Dodo. He is full of energy and we can count on an episode of the zoomies when we are outside.
Hes even warming up to the idea of having a cat sister.
He is working on how to live with a cat, Ramsey said. Currently, he and our cat Barbara just like to yell at one another but I'm confident they will be friends soon.
While no one knows where Mosley came from, its quite clear hes chosen just where he will stay: In his new home, with his new family by his side.
Someone even stopped us because they recognized him from that picture that the Atlanta Humane Society posted a couple weeks ago, Ramsey said. If we lay on the ground he automatically comes in to be the little spoon Just adorable!"

(17,622 posts)....they didn't notice it until the daily weigh ins. His joker mouth wasnt letting him nurse right so we had to hold him like a little baby and bottle feed him. The vet said a cpl stitches could fix his mouth but the bigger he got, the cuter he got and the eating was no longer a problem-so they neutered him let him be who he was intended to be. Hes white and his name is Casper and he's everyone's favorite.
I'd post a photo if i knew how.

(15,524 posts)it's his "snaggle-tooth smile". Jack's face is symmetrical, he just kind of doesn't notice that his upper lip doesn't naturally come down all the way on both sides of his mouth.
He is perfectly happy and healthy, A+ exam results from his vet, no problems eating, drinking - just a quirk that makes him unique.
