Adam Smith book request

I read somewhere Adam Smith wrote some books besides "The Wealth of Nations" that make him look like a liberal. Does anyone know of these books? Also, I hear his books could be difficult to read. Does anyone know of any books ABOUT Smith that paint him in this light?

Email Congressman Adam Smith's office and ask the same question. I happen to know he has read everything on A. Smith that's out there. They will help you.

apparently he's been 'mis-interpreted' by many RWers, especially libertarians.

Imagine that.

For the OP, that 18th Century prose can be hard to read. They definitely talked different back then, and it is reflected in the writing.

I hear blowhards like Rush Limbaugh blather about America being based on “self intrest”. Actually, Adam Smith called it Enlightened self interest, but ol’ Rush would choke on that word.
Also, Smith wrote that capitalism isn’t always the answer.
