Anyone have an opinion as why was Joe Strummer Lead Singer

and Front Man for The Clash. Mick Jones sang and wrote alot of their best songs. They both played guitar. Did Joe have the better Punk Persona as Lead Singer. Mick has a good voice and wrote some good songs with Big Audio Dynamite. Just curious.

No contest. Not even close. Joe's sense of timing, delivery, cadence etc.

Jones singing "London calling", "Jimmie jazz", or "rudie can't fail"? No way.

But his voice was fine for "train in vain".
