DUCKS!

Okay, they had a bad regular season, and a lot of key injuries to carry. But the Oregon Ducks got their (ahem) ducks in a row during the Pac 12 tournament to win the conference championship with a dominating win over Washington. This loss is going to stick in the Huskies' craw like a Kenny Wheaton interception.

Can Oregon make a deep run in the NCAA Tournament? I don't know. But they're one of 68 teams, and I don't think anyone wants to face this bunch and its stifling defense.

the Ducks really impressed. It's great to see a team executing a late surge and keep winning. They peaked at the right time.

Not the women's team, which is on track to a meeting with Mississippi State in the regional final, but the men's team seems to have done a little better than their #12 seed might indicate.

In fairness to the men's committee, they probably can't stay up very late to watch west coast games, and their DVRs are filled with episodes of "Lost" they'll never watch. So the Pac 12 champion gets a low seed. Next up, the invincible Virginia Cavaliers.
