(28,125 posts)We have their smaller, similar cousins, bobcats, in the southern mountains. My neighbor's camera has caught them on her driveway.

(86,748 posts)seeing them in the lower 48 is pretty rare. We have some but according to researchers, they are finding that they are starting to cross-breed with bobcats!
