And this goes on for a while, until they come to blows or one just walks away.

We have their smaller, similar cousins, bobcats, in the southern mountains. My neighbor's camera has caught them on her driveway.

Lover of wildlife here.

we refer to their feet and that of wolves as "snowshoe feet" a term coined by Dr. Doug Smith of USNPS.

seeing them in the lower 48 is pretty rare. We have some but according to researchers, they are finding that they are starting to cross-breed with bobcats!
