I moved from DC 10 years and have missed WETA and WAMU.

Do you remember Bill Cerri (brother of Dick) who started the morning with The Kings Singers "You Are The New Day". What a way to go to work. I was driving down 270 from Frederick when he had his fatal stroke on air. I had to pull over and let my sadness flow.

I'm in MD now, and retired, so have all day/every day to listen to WETA; I wasn't such an habitual listener when I was working in DC, married with kids.

Can't imagine hearing Bill Cerri (or anyone) having such an awful occurrence. Glad you were able to pull over.
