had an amputation in Dec. 2012. He did amazing. I was crying my eyes out the first time I saw him afterward, but he was already hopping up stairs. My vet said it was harder on the owners than the dogs.

He collapsed suddenly the day after Thanksgiving 2017. Emergency xrays showed a large tumor around his liver. It had ruptured. So, I released him. He was very close to 16 years old.
