The singer Cee Williams was at a Detroit nightclub

Two songs into her act, a feral cat snuck in from an alleyway and started wreaking havoc: knocking over drinks, chewing through cables, etc. Williams continued on bravely, but the cat kept causing problems. It tipped over a big jar of flour the kitchen keeps to bread the jalepeno poppers, causing a huge white cloud to fill the room -- and Williams has a gluten allergy, causing her vocal chords to swell up. Finally, the cat trips over the Nerf cannon they use to eject bad singers on karaoke night, knocking her off the stage with great indignity. To add insult to injury, the local newspaper's music reviewer was there, and panned the act, writing the headline "One Detroit cat sank Cee's set: wheat, nerf".
