O.K., so *how* did I miss the BAFTA(s)?!1
To recap: I'm an erratic poster, am an awards-show-freak judging when I haven't even viewed all the nominees. Yet this year I've actually seen Big 4 nominees - Star/Born; Roma; Favourite/Bohemian - contrary to almost all previous years when I've never seen *ANY*!1
So tonight - loving that my Jimmy CARTER has won his THIRD Grammy for spoken word, yet have just heard that the BAFTA were held (last night?) and that Roma took the Best pic, fine, but for the ones that count (Oscars) better be The Favourite plus all the top Acting. Although I *do* wonder why a Greek director submersed/immersed himself in another country's history (when his own is so rich), while his competitor (Roma) was all so self-involved. Anyway.
Anyway, here're my pics for Oscar: Pic/Favourite. Actor/Rami. Actress/Olivia (but won't cry if it's Glenn
