7. We stock up on wild bird feed every fall.

It's so fun to watch them! Lots of birch, aspen and spruce trees in the yard; they still hit the feeder first. Even at 30 or so below.

10. My feeders have been besieged by cardinals, house finches and chickadees all day.

It's still below zero but that's not stopping them.
