that's a subject I can get into.

Here's a few I love:

and I'd love to find more stuff like this. Wish these guys would tour over here - although I was lucky enough to see Coffins at the Maryland Death Fest several years ago.

on line...on IMVU

HE is an amazing guy, speaks English, German and of course Japanese. We talked about his music and what it was like to stand on stage with a huge, massive crowd watching his every move. Told me he had to vomit before going on stage cause, he would be so nervous to mess up live...but he was a great guy and very open to answering all our questions. He was always welcome to our chat room, Ichiban Jpop Kurabu. His band was "Center stage" on our wall of fame, of great Asian bands... He talked about other bands he liked and it was funny how he hated Dir En Grey, especially the lead singer, who he thought was gross,.. but he said Gackt looked up to him as a mentor, and so did Hyde of L'arc en ciel. I had asked him about the female singers and he said that guy bands were not allowed to hang out with female band members because it could be construed as inappropriate... that the music business was very strict especially in Japan and South Korea. Still... he had some favorites he shared...and it was just great to sit and listen to him talk about life in a band.. I asked him about Western Bands like Queen, and he said though he liked the music, he tried not to get into the music because he didn't want songs to influence his own creativity. If he was going to write music, he needed to be in his own space and not hear new stuff that might change his direction.

I've been a BT fan for years but recently I started re-listening to them when No. 0 came out. I re-listened to the discs that I owned and ordered the reissues of all the albums that I missed like Memento Mori and Angels Revolver.

... so much talent..! Saiki from Band Maid recently sang with Yoshiki in a TV special.. I haven't seen it yet, but word is Saiki wasn't at her best.. she was extremely nervous to be singing with Yoshiki...

I recently discovered Maximum the Hormone... WTF..!!!

They are so good... experimental, unconventional, unpredictable and so much fun..!!

This song is about their guitar player having to lose weight for health reasons...

the songs are not in ENGLISH. Many people have this attitude that if the song is NOT IN ENGLISH IT MUST SUCK. Nothing could be further from the truth! Because of Anime many people have started to LIKE Japanese music and are grown up enough to recognise good tunes when they hear them.... even if its in an obscure language like Japanese!

here is an example ..,

But it's the frustration when the other person says, "Omg the lyrics are so beautiful/awesome" and you can't understand a THING!

has nothing to do with the music, which some of is really excellent!
