(27,845 posts)There was a knock on our dressing room door.
Our manager shouted: "Keith! Ron! The Police are here!"
Oh, man, we panicked, flushed everything down the john.
Then the door opened and it was Stewart Copeland and Sting.

"Papa was a rolling stone, wherever he laid his hat was his home,
and when he died, all he left us was alone"
He sang this verse over and over again until the other guy in the car finally tells him to please shut up.

(12,132 posts)to show our daughter. She said "why would anyone even WANT to move like Jagger?" But we did all agree that no matter what, Adam Levine does not have moves like Jagger.
but then as Youtube often suggests similar videos we got to watch some live Queen and that was cool. She liked that better than the Stones stuff.
But as to the original question, I'll go with Keef.

(27,845 posts)Compare that with what Fats Domino was worth when he died a few years back....$4 million.
Or Jerry Lee Lewis, who's net worth is $16 million.
Or....(I could go on, but I won't).

(27,845 posts)It was band manager Andrew Oldham who didn't want Ian Stewart in the band because, in his opinion, he "did not fit the band's image"
He died way too young.
In Dec. 1985, he had respiratory problems and went to a clinic to have the problem examined, but he suffered a heart attack and died in the waiting room....He was 47
