My grandmother's niece (my 2nd (or 3rd?) cousin) turns 104, tomorrow

She has lived in the same house, on the side of a mountain, for far longer than I've been on this planet. She is sharp as a tack, still does crossword puzzles, loves to read, and she REALLY loves chocolate.

I'm hoping to get back to Maryland, in June, so I can see her, again.

104. Pretty damn impressive.

Please tell her Happy Birthday from us, my dear Siwsan!

Just think of all the things she's seen and experienced. I'm glad she's doing so well.

talk about a play he has coming out on the Old Man and the Sea.

He sounded quite sharp in discussing Hemingway.

Your relative seems amazing

Lived in a good sized Tudor house by herself. Had wonderful neighbors and family near-by. She too was sharp as a tack, never missed a Birthday. Always knew I’d get a b’day card from her. Would still probably be around, but had a hard fall. Pretty much crushed her pelvis. Nothing they could do but keep her comfortable until the end.

She was the last of that generation(my Mom’s sister). Now we are the oldest generation. 😟

May your relative live out her life in comfort, warmth and the joy of family.
