(14,628 posts)A friend of mine found her in Uptown New Orleans and asked for someone to take her in because she was starting to run around in the street. I had to teach my kitten how to go up and down the stairs because there were no other cats in my house to teach her. About a week later my friend was able to trap the kitten's mother and sister. Now all three live in my house. The kittens are three years old now.
You would never know that my little stinker is blind. Her sister serves as her seeing eye cat. They run all over the house, at full speed. The blind one climbs up on top of the piano and all over other pieces of furniture. In some ways, she is the bravest of the three.
Thanks so much for posting this. The video brings back a lot of great memories.

(24,035 posts)There is a very compelling book about a blind cat, entitled Homers Odyssey. A very worthy read.
