It was funny enough when she slaps him the first time, but then the second one! It always makes me laugh.



I have the 20th anniversary DVD. It has a great commentary by Cher. The studio didn't want to cast Nicolas Cage, but she insisted, even delaying shooting for a couple of days. He wasn't crazy about doing such a mainstream film, but his agent threatened to drop him if he didn't. Director Norman Jewison was the only one that really believed it would be successful. It had a budget of $15 Million and made $80 Million.
