Bald eagle v coyote!!!
A friend told me about seeing an eagle harry an osprey that had a fish in its beak, and then after the osprey dropped the fish swoop down to catch the fish in mid-air.
Eagles are genius thieves.

videographer who caught that! It was from Yellowstone back in the late 90s. Bob Landis, who made most of the Yellowstone videos fro NatGeo back in the day. Too bad they didn't go further with the eagle scenario because it gets better... another eagle comes along and tries to steal the hunk of meat and they tumble in the air for a moment. Phenomenal capture.
