She was rescued from a box on the side of the road so the people kept her. Her siblings all died, they were left there after birth. My brother had gone to look at a puppy and saw the cat, who was old enough to be adopted, and was enthralled with her and brought her home. She growled, came when you whistled and would chase cars. Coolest cat ever.
