I wonder if the whole 'dirty' meaning of the expression 'how far you got (with the girl)' didn't actually arise FROM this song, as opposed to having been in common usage before this song.

Pretty sure the first time I heard it was when I saw Grease in the theater circa 1977 ... and this song is well older than Grease.

Granted it was supposed to be representative of the 50's, but that film has quite a few anachronisms ...

Just curious. Either way, there's nothing here that's offensive unless you're just unbelievably uptight.

The Cleveland radio station choose not to play an outdated song. Not the same as a song being banned. Somg is still available to listen to.
