like 15 years ago. I see they have really updated the activity. You can sign on to a site that notifies you of geocaches in your area and if you set the cache they can notify you if people are searching for it. The kids loved the cheesy prizes.

That said, it's a great hobby for kids. My boys would go with their dad almost every weekend for a while when they were younger and would have little adventures along the way. Plus, it probably helps with spatial skills, etc. I had no idea it was still going on and am glad to hear it.

It really is fun.

We only stayed local in VA but it was an adventure to go on, which made it a special outing to share with fam and friends!

You can also go to the Letterboxing site. That is what I used to do.

My best friend and I do it all the time. We call our little team. Team Free Will 3.0. We both love Supernatural and well...if you've seen it you'd know what I meant by that
