Hershey's releases new Kiss flavor for holidays

In time for the holidays, Hershey’s Kisses has added a new flavor – Hot Cocoa Kisses.
It’s the first winter holiday Kiss release in a decade.

The Kisses are made with a sweet marshmallow creme center surrounded by milk chocolate. They will be available for a limited time along with other seasonal Kiss flavors such as candy cane.

Word is the candies will arrive at stores on Nov. 1, but we’ve seen for sale at Giant Food Stores.

This year, The Hershey Co. has been pushing new releases to increase sales.
It launched Reese's Outrageous, a combination of peanut butter, caramel and Reese’s Pieces, as well as Hershey’s Gold, its first new candy bar in 22 years.

6. I hear tell they're also releasing politically-themed Kisses

The Democratic Kiss is made of dark, milk and white chocolates blended together with a piece of walnut in the middle to symbolize the modern Democratic party: a place where all races of chocolate can come together, and that's just a little bit nutty.

The Republican Kiss is a piece of dog feces formed into the shape of a traditional Kiss then enrobed with a very thin layer of semi-sweet chocolate to symbolize the modern Republican party: it's just a little bitter on the outside until you get into it, and discover just how bad it really is.
