(24,396 posts)We love the old Nonesuch brand mince filling which includes suet. But I have also had mincemeat which includes large pieces of beef. Didnt care for it at all.
My daughter and I are the main consumers of this family holiday tradition. We were just talking the other day about being a month away from enjoying our mince pie.

It's one thing I do miss after being away from Oz for so long, a good meat pie. They don't do them in Spain and the Brit shops sell a reasonable approximation of one but the best way is to make them at home.

(791 posts)My Nan would take her own chairs, two hot flasks for tea and coffee, fresh baked biscuits and all sorts of food. It was cool.
But yes I would imagine these days you can't bring it in so you will buy them at the game. They are a really common snack or meal, cheap and available everywhere.
