Not really greasy, but they are deep fried. Salt and pepper dry ribs.
I use the pre-seasoned, cooked, and cut ribs from the freezer section in Costco.
Bake them according to the instructions. Then deep fry for three to five minutes in 350 degree oil.
Toss with fresh ground pepper and salt. 😋

(6,212 posts)Hunks of Szalonna (bacon) put on a stick and roasted in a campfire. The drippings go on slices of rye bread with sliced onions or other veggies. Wonderful

(3,569 posts)Hamburger. Pica pica hot sauce. Mix together (1/3 bottle per lb). Put on white corn tortilla, cover about a third of the tortilla, about 1/2 inch thick.
Fry, about 350, in an inch of oil or crisco (preferred). First fry open then fold over and fry.other side.
Sharp cheddar, lettuce, fresh tomatoes, green onions and MOST IMPORTANT, parmesan cheese. Put parm on right after removing the tacos too.
In answer to the question everyone asks, yes, fry the meat and tortilla together.

(791 posts)Normally cooked on top of a bed of chopped potato so the fat melts out of the sausage and into the potatos.

However I like to up the heart attack stakes and serve the sausage with Tartiflette, a potato, onion, creamy, cheesy, blissful side made with a whole round of Reblochon cheese.

(38,562 posts)but I don't eat it very often. I have to admit that I often add it to recipes, and--when I have it--cook my eggs in the fat.
I'm not a big fried food fan.

(426 posts)....Ketogenic life. It's ALL grease for me! And no, it's not a heart attack waiting to happen. Fat gets blamed for sugar/starches fault.

(3,414 posts)Fry sliced potatoes and onions in veg oil, season w/salt and pepper. Brown first over medium heat, then cover, reduce heat, and simmer until potatoes are soft. Shake on a few bacos and top with cheddar cheese. Put the lid back on for a few minutes to soften the bacos and melt the cheese. Serve with a tasty dark beer (Porter or stout) and whatever green vegetable you think might counteract all that grease and carbs. Broccoli is a favorite of mine.
Note: this is the vegetarian version of this dish. My mother used to fry bacon until crisp, then fried the potatoes and onions in the grease instead of using veg oil. And she used the crumbled bacon instead of bacos. That's sure to keep you meat-eaters happy!

(63,221 posts)Has to be really good authentic English or Irish Fish and Chips. I have had some good versions here. There was an English place in NYC called "A Salt and Battery" that had really good F&C. I still miss that place, but Boston has some good places too. It's so disappointing if you go to a place that isn't very good.

(26,268 posts)I have occasionally had some, on this side of the pond, that almost meet that standard, but not quite.
We had some amazing fish fries when I was in Iceland, too. HUGE planks of deep fried cod, every Friday night. No chips but lots of cold slaw, mac salad or baked beans were available.

Chinese Shrimp Toast
Toast deep fried in oil, oh, and with some shrimp inside.
