Just waiting for the water heater to do its thing. It'll be my first hot shower in my own home since Michael hit. My neighbors across the street aren't as lucky so I told them they are welcome to take a hot shower here and use the washer/dryer.

We were out of electricity for 3 months after Hurricane Iniki on Kauai in '92.

6. So happy for you! I was 2 weeks w/o water when my water pipes sprung a leak.

It was during hurricane Irma last year. Couldn’t even get a plumber for 4 days. Had to have the whole house repiped. Was monumental when we finally got water. So I understand your elation.🤗
