(2,824 posts)1. We got 2 inches of the white stuff last Sunday here in IA.
Then it has been around 60 degrees the past 2 days. I have a yellow lilly blooming yesterday. Weird weather. Will have to be getting the snow blower out soon.

I planted about 100 or so bulbs yesterday. So, I'm glad I got them in! Looks like winter is here

North Central Massachusetts.
Quite windy and cold.
And we still haven't purchased wood pellets for our stove. We had to hold off on it in order to finance truck repairs. It's a good thing the truck is functional. We'll need it to plow soon enough.

I nevertheless brushed off the top of the car this a.m. and chipped the wipers loose. The big trees over the house are dropping green leaves. Oy vey!
