Those Babbel commercials.

Have you ever noticed how the people who provide the testimonials always speak in English? I think it would be a huge selling point if they gave us a sample of what they learned. Let us hear them speak in foreign languages so we can judge their accents.

I wonder if people understand that one can catch a train in Denmark in the morning, and eat lunch in Italy, for example. And they can stop over at at least a half dozen other countries. All that have different languages, and nearly borderless.

Still ... Babbel thinks it's because of the way language is taught (US schools = bad schools).

I chuckle every time I hear that one.
