can't afford the really expensive wines but Chillable Red by Franzia works just fine for me. course I may be on a wine buzz every night until November 6th. If things look good for us Democrats that night, I may buy a bottle of Champagne for that night.

I admit I bought a bottle of champagne for Election Night 2016. I ended up drinking it months later watching my new THX-1138 DVD.

I don’t think it would be tempting fate to buy one this year. We need a break.

I'm going with vodka and passion fruit juice tonight. I over-poured on the vodka so I've got to figure out how to blend the juice in correctly without being completely overwhelmed.

Some of us have tough problems. Should I move to a larger glass? You said ask anything.

24. Just a very busy, hectic day in clinic.

I saw twenty patients, which is just slightly more than average.

But the complexity of the visits was overwhelming. By the time I'd visited with five patients, it felt like ten.

And Fridays are always chaotic.

The police had to come and break up a knife fight in the clinic parking lot.

And my first patient of the day had a severe case of attitudinitis; every time I tried to address her issues, she whipped out some Google-search info, and wouldn't let me get a word in edge-wise.

I referred her for a x-ray, which confirmed my diagnosis. So I'm hoping from now on, she'll have more confidence in me, and less in Google.

Thank God for the weekend...

...busy because parents bring their kids in with something they’ve either had all week or that started 30 minutes ago, and they want it fixed RIGHT NOW because there/s a game or a party or a performance or whatever on Saturday that simply can’t be missed.

Mondays are usually also hectic because everyone comes in with whatever wasn’t bad enough to go to urgent care over the weekend.

If I see more than 15 -16 patients, I leave work mentally exhausted.

How long are your appointment slots?

Me: coffee with brandy

I totally rearranged the living room over the past two days.
Now I have a week (or more) of cleaning in that area to do.

I love my flock of doves but they make a huge mess. Do you have any idea how slippery the floor is with only a small bit of millet seed thrown about.

Coffee with brandy sounds lovely.

I'll be giving that a try as the cold weather progresses...
