My barber’s response when I told her my age. I know she was going to say “My father” but caught herself.

A lot of people just about my age or younger have picked up the habit of dying, I've noticed.

I had said "dying lately," but I came to my senses.

and there was a guy in his 60s who would grab it out of my hands and flip to the obits immediately.
He would then read a name and an age and follow that with a &quot S)he was so young." Drove me crazy.
