Your favorite Super Hero who isn't a mutant and has NO actual "super powers?"

Basically ruling out Superman, all of the X-Men and their gazillion offshoots, or any students bitten by radioactive spiders. No scientists bombarded by gamma rays, no Norse Gods.

We're talking your basic male or female in a suit. That's IT.

Most obvious choice would be Batman, I guess.

My own favorite would be Iron Man. Yours?

I think The Shoveler might've been my favorite.

Was that the movie with the superheroine with Invisibility powers... but they'll only work if nobody's looking at her? Brilliant, that power. She'd be my actual favorite... but I guess we must (?) assume she has the superpower.

So yeah, then, William L. Macy's hangdog The Shoveler. I laugh just thinking about him.

he has the power of plot armor. Especially when with other superheroes, Batman is one of the worst offenders for plot armor and sometimes a healing factor.

Through a series of not at all complicated steps, he has the power to change history.

I thought I saw him this morning, but it was just my reflection in a mirror.

It turns out that we almost all have that power.

so many issues with this guy.

"Dogwelder is a member of Section 8, a "superhero" team led by delusional superhero wannabe Six-Pack, a supporting character in the comic book series "Hitman".

Dogwelder is a mysterious and likely disturbed individual who never speaks. His face is never revealed; always hiding behind a welding mask. All we know of Dogwelder and his methods are that he seems to live in an alley, he sets traps for stray animals, has a supply of dead dogs (perhaps just puppies) and he fights evil by pouncing upon evildoers and welding a dog to their face."

6 kids, 2 foster kids. A full-time job. Smart, loving, attentive.

Supporting cast (that's the wrong term): my dad. He worked 80 hours/week to keep us all afloat.

When the kids were all in school, my mom went to work so my dad didn't have to work as much.

They both did what they had to do.

Not only that: they loved each other and showed all of us kids what love is supposed to look like.

Mom is now 84. Dad is 87.

They don't have kids to take care of anymore, but they take care of each other.
