I am pretty sure than any feline on the planet that has the size and ability to kill humans, does so. The only difference with a domestic cat is their risk/reward calculation for safely attacking a human is outside their risk threshold.

which come in very handy for opening cans. They have done a risk analysis and decided that the thumbs outweigh the satisfacton they would have in killing us.
That's what's saving us...our thumbs. Oh, and we do warm the bed for them on cold nights.
