that just makes me swoon. it is SO GOOD! And it must be made with key lime juice, not regular lime juice!

At a very swanky resort on Key Largo

Mango-mint soup
Stone Crab with a side of Conch Chowder

Key Lime Pie for desert made from Key Largo Limes.

It was a real "Florida Keys" meal... and the Key Lime Pie was sublime.

1983... Summer time.

to visit the Keys, Key Largo in particular, several times, and a meal like you described just makes me want to go down there again!

That was my first time eating key lime pie down there too. Oh those were the days ....
