Caterina Dellabona was walking by someone’s home one day when she noticed an unusual sign hanging on their gate. The sign, written in Italian, read, “Please don’t throw the toy on the cacti (the dog will hurt itself). Throw either left or right thanks.”

2. I would spend my day throwin/ fetching/throwing with the dogs.

I would feel bad if I just left them hanging.

3. My former neighbor had two border collies - great dogs.

Each time I was out in the yard, they would race to the chainlink fence to drop a stick over the fence or push one through the link for me to throw. It would go on forever if I let it. They are the most affectionate and intelligent dogs.

I miss my very clever, very beautiful Patty Girl so much. Oh, the many hours of tennis ball and frisbee throws and returns. These pups do more retrieving than my Lab "Retrievers."
