Finally learned how to post photos! YAY! The new puppy is a lab mix, 14-weeks-old. The larger doggo is my deaf Catahoula mix.

My Catahoula girl is named Danika (after Danica Patrick, I prefer the K spelling, though) and we named the new puppy Halo because she has a white spot at the very back of her head, plus she's so sweet.

4. Thanks. The rescue told us the puppy's mother looked like a lab.

We are not sure about the father. I'm open to suggestions. They thought the litter had more than one doggo daddy because some of the puppies looked like rottweilers and some looked like her.

We had an athletic theme going with our pets. Our other deaf dog (gone now) was named Mia, after Mia Hamm; and our kitteh's name is Lance (Armstrong,this was before Armstrong disgraced himself).

My sister brought her home from a carnival with a story about how she won her... confessed some years later that she bought her for $5.

Halo's paws look like she has some growing to do. Love those brief puppy months so much!

That couch was a terrible idea. Fur sticks to it like Velcro and it's impossible to keep clean. Between the dogs and cat, I need a faux leather couch. $$$ again, sigh.

33. You may be right. Just got back from her first puppy vet visit.

Vet said possibly border/lab mix. She said her fur wasn't typical of a lab, so she thought there was some herding dog in there somewhere. Gosh, her face sure does look like collie.
