In all my little league years, I don’t recall one person making it to first base on a dropped third strike, let alone 3 runners scoring.

(never 'got' that rule, btw), but he should've just walked to home plate to stop runners advancing instead of trying to throw all the way to 1st, they still had the 1 run lead.
