You know the game: your Secret Porn Star Name is your first pet as your first name, followed by the street on which you grew up.

My first pet was a black cat with yellow eyes named “Jasmine.” The house we lived in when I was a child was Demaret Street. Hence my Secret Porn Star Name:

Jasmine Dupont.

Pretty porny, right? I’ve never met anyone who could top it. Until last night.

I was drinking with some friends and a guy I’ve known for more than 25 years announced his. I’ve heard him talk about his first dog before, Smokey, and after he mentioned the street name, I remembered that he had discussed it in the past, so I know he didn’t make it up:

Just saying. A lot of these online games are simply trawling for information like that.

11. I never use those because I grew up on a bunch of different streets

and had so many reptilian first pets that I can't remember all their names. Those would be useless security questions for me because I'd never be able to remember which names I used.

I never really had a "hometown", for example, because we moved every year and I only spent 3 months in the city of my birth. "Favourite Movie" or "Favourite Book" don't work because I'll probably never answer that question the same way twice, and "Favourite Teacher" doesn't work because I hated all them.
