When I went to the drugstore today ...
Recently someone posted that she had gone to her grocery store and they had Halloween candy for sale.
This morning I went to Walgreens to pick up a couple prescriptions and a few items.
I thought I’d check, thinking surely Walgreens would not be selling Halloween candy this early.
Yet, there is was. Not a huge display but about a dozen different types of candy in Halloween wrappers.
As I was paying the cashier for my purchases I said to her
“Isn’t August too early to be selling Halloween candy?”
She looked at me and said
“And yet you bought two bags of it.”
