Drinking, in moderation, really isn’t that bad for you. Smoking on the other hand, is always bad.

A panhandler stopped me on the street asking for money.

I protested he would just blow it on booze. He assured me he doesn't drink.

I then said he would just buy smokes. He assured me he doesn't smoke.

I then offered him $100 if he would come with me to meet my wife. He was suspicious and asked why. I told him I wanted to my wife to see what becomes of men who don't drink or smoke.

With alcohol, there is a safe, moderate level of consumption. There is no safe, moderate level with smoking. Even one cigarette can be bad for you.

However, nicotine and alcohol are still the deadliest drugs known to man. They are the statistical champions by hundreds of thousands of deaths.

I say this just after posting a drinking thread...
