(149,712 posts)We had a great dinner out with the four of us and a close friend too!
Today is going to be hectic. We have to get out of the house so the housekeeping crew will be happy. And then we'll return.
We need to finish packing since we leave for our first leg on our way home later on.
I still need to choose and upload the photos from last night before I can start any thread. So it might not happen today.
I will try!

(54,443 posts)She and her husband chose a cumbersome route back to L.A. I wouldn't have done it, but they said long flights are not their cup of tea, so instead of flying from London back to L.A. in one flight, they are flying to New York today, and then on to L.A. on Thursday. There used to be nonstops from Düsseldorf to L.A., but the airline that offered that route went bankrupt (my luck!). They flew Düsseldorf to Boston nonstop, which was my dream, as we take our summer vacations near Boston. Alas, good things don't always last, so now we are back to changing in Paris or Amsterdam.
Their flight from Düsseldorf to London was already delayed at least 80 minutes (at least, that was the status when they headed to security), and Peggy indicated it did not go smoothly after that, either.
Wait for her report. But she got some great shots of our last night in "Arabia," so those should be fun.
