They used to jam every Sunday in Piedmont Park. Even though the band continued after Duane’s death It was never the same for me. Greg was soulful but Duane was irreplaceable.

Warren Haynes, Derek Trucks, Oteil Burbidge brought big music to the band. Warren and Derek are certainly in Duane's league as far as guitaring goes.

We saw them, including Duane, perform Oct. 16, 1971 at Marietta College Homecoming, Marietta, Ohio. It was his second to last concert before the accident. One of my top favorite live music events.
