So if Disney buys Fox studios will R rated superhero movies be a thing of the past

I'd hate to see a sanitized Deadpool integrated into the MCU. Disney movies cater to foreign markets that don't let controversial topics into their countries and it shows how many LBGTQ characters are in superhero movies

I worked at a plant that made DVDs for Disney (among many others). They had multiple versions of most movies. We would get in a lot of hassle if the wrong version went out in the US market. There was more nudity in the European ones, but the main difference was in the English used.

My point is that there are possibly multiple versions already and that it is not an uncommon practice.

Disney owns, or has owned, subsidiaries that made R-rated movies. You might remember this movie that came out a few years ago that no one saw...I think it was called Kill Bill or something. Well, Disney owned Miramax when that was made.

If they were going to release the movies as Disney branded movies...yeah, they’d sanitize them. Owning Fox Studios allows them to not do that.
