So this place in Canada gas would be almost twice as much.

I remember when I went in to Canada and saw the prices and thought cool, cheap gas. Until I realized how many liters were in a gallon. It wound up being about the same as what I was paying in the states for gas.

My ex lives in San Diego, California.
There the average is $3.89 a gallon.

Here in Albuquerque, New Mexico, it's $2.71

Prices vary largely due to state taxes.

- most of it is taxes, and price will go up soon. It is really no problem to pay - our roads are filled with cars.

That was when I had a rental while visiting family in Florida.

Otherwise I have a Bolt so the last time I put any gas in a vehicle was last August.
